There are various sources for downloading the ROMs.

Of course not everything you download is going to have a complete perfect set of ROMs. The best way to ensure they are correct is to audit your ROMs with the below procedure.

  1. Download and install RomVault
  2. Download FightCade DAT and put it in a directory.
  3. Execute RomVault
  4. Click on Settings
  5. On DAT Root Directory: click Set
  6. Select the directory where you saved the FightCade DAT file and click OK.
  7. Click OK
  8. Click on Update DATs. You will now see the DAT file.
  9. Right click on it and click on Set Rom Dir
  10. Click Set on ROM Location. Click on OK
  11. Click on Scan ROMs
  12. If there are any issues click on Find Fixes
  13. Click on Fix ROMs.
  14. You should now have a complete set.

  1. Start a game in FightCade (in lobby type /play) or FBA (ggpofba.exe)
  2. Press F5 and customise the input for that game.
  3. Copy the .ini file for the game you just loaded located in C:FightCadeconfiggames to C:FightCadeconfigpresets
  4. In C:FightCadeconfigpresets rename the .ini file to custom.ini
  5. Start FightCade/FBA and load a gamme.
  6. Press F5 and down the bottom you will see some drop down boxes.
    1. Choose “Player 1”
    2. In the box beside it select “custom”
    3. Click on “Make Default”
  7. Repeat step 6 but for player 2

Use “undefined” for the 3x punch and 3x kick configurations. This can be done by manually editing the file.
